Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners to Connect Coding Talent with Potential Employers in Demo Day

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. (July 29, 2019) – Recent graduates of Georgia Tech’s Coding Boot Camp will debut their coding and software skills in a demo day at Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners, a 5G enabled autonomous vehicle and smart city living laboratory in the  northern Atlanta suburb.

Georgia Tech Professional Education is co-hosting the event, scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, at 5 p.m. EST.

Peachtree Corners’ Demo Day will give participants the opportunity to showcase their skills for industry professionals, company partners and recruiters interested in hiring skilled graduates.

As technology continues to impact how businesses operate and engage with consumers, there is tremendous demand for coding skills both for people changing careers and those who want to move up in their current job.

“With more than 6,000 IT job openings in Georgia, companies are looking for the best and brightest talent to develop and execute their IT strategies,” said Brian Johnson, city manager of Peachtree Corners. “We realize the importance of connecting these graduates to Georgia’s leading companies so we can benefit from homegrown IT talent in our state and business community for years to come.”

Georgia Tech Professional Education is also offering a data analytics boot camp starting on August 5 at Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners.
